What to Learn and What NOT to Learn from Shri Krishna

We all love Krishna - the Makhan Chor, the flute player, the friend, the lover, the guide. But his life is not just stories, it's a life manual. Here's what we should really learn from him, and what we often learn wrong. 

WHAT TO LEARN FROM SHRI KRISHNA:

1. Do your Dharma without attachment to result

This is the core of Gita. "Karm karo, phal ki chinta mat karo." Krishna teaches us to give our 100% but not to be broken if the result is not what we expected.

2. Love purely, not possessively

Radha Krishna's love was the purest. There was no demand, no jealousy, no possession. Learn to love people freely, not to control them.

3. Be joyful in every situation

Whether in jail as a child, in Vrindavan with gopis, or in the middle of the Mahabharata war - Krishna never lost his smile and his flute. Life will be tough, but keep your joy alive.

4. Be a great friend

Like his friendship with Sudama. No ego, no status. A true friend is one who stands by you, whether you are a king or have nothing.

5. Use your mind, not just your heart

Krishna was never weak. He was the best strategist. He teaches us that being good does not mean being foolish. Be kind, but be smart.

WHAT NOT TO LEARN / WHAT WE MISUNDERSTAND:

1. Don't think his Leela is an excuse for wrong

Many people say "Krishna did Raas Leela, so we can also flirt." No. His Leela was divine love for every soul, not human desire. Don't use God to justify your mistakes.

2. Don't learn manipulation from his strategies

Krishna used tactics in Mahabharata for Dharma. Some people use this to learn cheating and lying for selfish reasons. If your intention is not Dharma, then it's not Krishna's way

3. Don't learn to run away from responsibility

Krishna left Vrindavan, but for a bigger Dharma - to establish justice in Mathura and Dwarka. Don't leave your people and duties in the name of "detachment". Detachment means doing your duty better, not leaving it.

4. Don't just wait for a miracle

Many of us just say "Krishna will handle everything" and do nothing. Krishna helped Arjuna only AFTER Arjuna picked up his bow. God helps those who act.

Final Thought:

Krishna is not just a God to worship, he is a personality to live. Learn his love, his joy, his wisdom, his dharma - but don't twist his stories to suit your convenience.
